Test the trackback

Absolutely no idea if trackbacks are working on my new blog at www.smstoday.co.uk, so I'm testing it here.

So it's nearly 1am, and today is the day I start a new blog, a personal one. I have 2 blogs already, but they're very subject specific. One I run for fun at www.myfriendsaid.com, the other www.doipod.com (an iPod Blog) is a fledgling commercial blog. All 3 are powered by Typepad.

The latter has been giving me a headache all week, in fact both it and this new one have been keeping me up for the last 7 days. I've decided to hijack thumblounge.com as my personal blog, but until about 15 minutes ago, it was my iPod Blog.

I've spent the last 7 days moving everything over from thumblounge.com to doipod.com. The posts themselves were really easy, took about 15 mins to export & import using TypePad's admin. It was the design and structure that has had me working 10 hour days for the past week.

I'm a geek at heart, and when I first discovered that I could totally customize my blog using their advanced templates, I couldn't resist. YUCK! Watch out for an up coming feature on typepad. Gonna spill my guts.

So, back to the hijacking of thumblounge.com. I've yet to do anything with the design and there's a ton posts regarding iPod. It's gonna take me the next 7 days to figure the best way to complete the hijacking.

Any tips?
