If you've yet to discover Zedge you're in a for a real treat, because it has the largest selection of free mobile downloads available on the interweb.
A MASSIVE MOBILE SOCIAL NETWORK
Zedge's free mobile downloads are created and uploaded by it's users (over 5 million registered at the time of writing this), and thankfully there are enough really good mobile content developers on Zedge to ensure that you'll find at least 3 or 4 "must have" downloads for your mobile within half an hour.
The rating system works really well, as all of the free mobile downloads are rated by the users, making it easy to avoid wasting your time.
WHAT FREE MOBILE DOWNLOADS ARE AVAILABLE?
All the usual suspects. There are thousands of free mobile downloads in categories including Free Ring Tones, Free Mobile Themes, Free Wallpapers, Free Mobile Games, Free Picture Messages and Free Mobile Videos.
Of course, it does have to be said that the range of quality is very broad. All of the items (excluding Mobile Games) are created by people just like you and I, and when they are good, they are REALLY good, and when they are poor, well they're just completely shit really.
HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE MOBILE FREEBIES DIRECT TO YOUR MOBILE PHONE
Once you've created your free account on Zedge, you are given storage space for 20 items, which is accessible via WAP/Mobile Internet. Simply add your chosen items to your space and download direct to your mobile phone.
There's an alternative that I HIGHLY recommend if you don't want to incur data charges from your carrier/network for WAP/Mobile Internet use.
THE ALTERNATIVE
You can download your chosen free mobile downloads direct to your PC/mac and then transfer it to your mobile handset via a memory card/stick, blue tooth, wireless or data cable. You're allowed to download up to 30 items a day.
