A very clever iPhone Ringtones service has been launched. There's a free trial so you can check it out.

The clever bit is that the iPhone Ringtones are made available via a Podcast, which is perfect for iPhone users that already have access to the iTunes software.

The best bit is that the iPhone Ringtones are avaialble worldwide, including the UK (Until today, iPhone Ringtones have yet to be made available in the UK).

Not stricly an iPhone game, but a great iPhone Webapp to use on your mates.

The stunning looking iPhone Radar lets you fool your mates in to thinking that your iPhone can hunt out the cell / mobile numbers of hot chicks in the pub or club.

It's nothing more than a great looking webapp that you load up in the Safari browser on your iPhone (or iPod Touch). It doesn't actually have the ability to scan for cell numbers.

I found a great site over the weekend that has a bunch of high quality videos to download for your Mobile Phone. iloaded.com has over 100 freebies available. The 3D Fish Tank (with chill out music) is brilliant!

They also have free movie trailers available, including the latest Indiana Jones and Star Trek movies.

Just browse the site iloaded.com, adding the free videos to the shopping basket, hit check out, enter your name and email address and then you'll be taken to a download page.

Download the free videos to you Mac/PC and transfer them to your mobile using your cable / blue tooth connection.

iLoaded.com has a large number of premium videos you can buy for under a £2 / $2. Categories include Celebrity Chefs Videos, Beauty Tips Videos, Models, Music Videos, Animations and over 1500 Karaoke Videos.

iPhone users can now download free iTunes direct to their iPhone. Every week, the staff at Apple iTunes choose a song and offer it up to all iTunes users free of charge.

But the free iTunes song isn't featured anywhere on the Wireless iTunes Store that's available on the iPhone.

Bejeweled, the incredibly addictive puzzle game, has been made available for the iPhone. This is great example of what to expect from iPhone gaming when a professional games developer turns its attention to the device.

This is really great casual game and a really addictive time killer. It's colourful game play is beautifully executed.

If you're anything like me, you'll have a couple of old mobile phones sat in a drawer somewhere. I hate throwing them away. Well envirofone will pay you to recycle them.

This is only available to UK users. Obviously the amount you get depends on the mobile phone model. You get paid in cash or you can opt for an Argos gift card which gives you slightly more money than if you opt for cash.

Mobyko are offering a free service that backs up your mobile phone contacts. After you sign up, you download a small piece of software to your mobile phone and it uploads your 'contact data' to a secure web site. You can access the data from any in the world.

Anyone that's ever lost a mobile phone or had it stolen by some scallywag will know how invaluable this service is. You simply access the site with your new handset and it'll upload all of the contact data you backed up.

They offer a premium service that also lets you back up your SMS text messages, video and photos. You can also send 10 free sms text messages, with the option to buy more. Frankly I don't know it's worth the effort for the free sms text, but I'd certainly recommend that you get your mobile phone backed up for free.

Domino's Pizza now allow you to order your Pizza's via SMS Text. You need to register on their site and set up a bunch of your preferred 'pizza meals', giving each a 'memorable name'.

Then whenever you fancy a pizza, you text the memorable name for your chosen pizza meal to their shortcode. You still pay at your door for the pizza delivery, but clever stuff none the less! Check out Domino's Pizza UK website

Crickey, this "could" be neat! Free mobile calls and cell phone calls for users of a new service called Truphone. There's no need to change your network or tariff/cell phone plan, but you do need a compatible mobile handset. Using VoIP principles, users of Truphone can call other Truphone users free.

From their site... You can make calls using Truphone wherever you have access to the internet via Wi-Fi (or 3G) and the availability of wireless connectivity is absolutely booming.

This can mean your home, office, public areas or commercial hotspots (coffee shops, airports etc). You will be able to make free or VoIP-rate calls from your sofa or when visiting friends with Wi-Fi. Similarly, Truphone calls can be made from your office and other workplaces you visit.

Basically, your mobile handset connects to the internet using Wi-Fi and allows you to talk to another truphone user (as long as they are also in a Wi-Fi area).

It'll be a long, long time before something like this becomes a threat to your current mobile operators business and there are draw backs. Aside from the very limited number of compatible handsets, the most obvious draw back is the fact that my friends and colleagues need to be Truphone users for this to work.

Truphone Checklist:

- You and your contact BOTH need a compatible handset.
- You and your contact BOTH need to be in a Wi-Fi zone, at the same time.

I love the idea, but until the truphone is available on most (if not all) mobile handsets and the planet becomes a Wi-Fi zone, I think it'll be limited to niche usage, no idea what that usage will be though. When I'm at home I can use my internet phone, or instant messaging. At the office? Well I don't pay for the calls :)

You know? I just don't think that the majority of mobile users have a monthly bill that would justify going to all the trouble of setting this up.

I've had a look around, and it fun. It took just a couple of minutes to get going, and create my pal (moi pal - geddit?). You choose the style of home yourpal lives in and one of four regions that home is located in. I was torn between the city and the beach, but went with the city in the end.

Once your account is created, you download your pal to you mobile phone and you're good to go. Currently it's compatible with most Nokia handsets, but imagine this will be avilable on other handsets over time.

This is how mobile games should be! This mobile game ties in with The Bourne Ultimatum movie, the third in the Bourne series starring Matt Damon.

The graphics are smooth and the gameplay exciting. It's got hand to hand combat, gun play and motorcycles. what more can you ask for from a mobile game?

Backing up your Mobile Phone data is real easy with "Bubble". Bubble is a subscriber based service that allows you to backup and restore all your mobile phone contacts over the air, like making a phone call. No cables, no cradles, no problem. So you can bubble your phone anywhere, anytime.

Bubble is more adavanced than a straight forward data back up and restore service. It allows you to do a fully automated synchronisation between your mobile phone and your “Bubble”. This means during a synchronisation your phone will automatically work out what information has changed since your last sync and sends only the new changes to your bubble. Meanwhile, your bubble automatically works out if you have made any changes via the web site and downloads these to your phone.

Buying concert tickets on your mobile phone. To be honest, I thought this was a waste of time when I first read it, you know... one of the "solutions to a non-existent problem".

But it turns out it has a couple of great features. First you can buy tickets to a concert for a friend and have it sent direct to their mobile phone, and second, if you lose your phone, you can have the ticket resent to a new mobile phone free of charge. Unlike losing a paper ticket, where you have to buy them again.

Ticket-Text.com naturally claim the tickets are cheaper, I dunno, but they don't have the post and packing fees that my usual ticket vendor charges me. Cool!

When Chris Moyles declared that Aled Haydn Jones was turning into a superhero on his morning's Radio 1 show, the ROK Comics team sprang into action and created a Mobile Comic in response to Moyles' appeal for art of AHJ as a super powered wonder...

You can view it online or download it to your mobile phone.

So I just had a call from Tony Jarmey over at Steathnet, a UK based mobile content provider.

He told me The Register had posted an article regarding the humourous results of searching for "boobs" on stealthnet's content site. The result was not thousands of sales of said "boobs mobile animation", but a bashing of their server.

The up shot of the article is that, some internet browsers cause a "boobs" mexican wave effect when viewing the web page.

So what, we hear you saying - it's just another run-of the mill, albeit jubtastic, flag-based flash. Well, before changing channels in a huff, click here and watch what happens.

Getting the picture? As James explains: "Different browser load patterns lead to different effects. Most of the time Firefox does an almost Mexican wave. IE seems to load randomly, but a refresh synchronises all of them. Some load the top half and then the bottom half leading to an up-down-up-down juggle."

Well, I'm using Firefox, and a few page refreshes did indeed produce a Mexican-wave effect, and a strangely hypnotic group mamsout fiesta. So hypnotic in fact, that I wrote this story at 8am this morning and have only just managed to disengage myself from the bouncing boob samba. Must.. try... and... concentrate...

Just goes to show you that THERE IS such a thing as bad press.

Fancy yourself as a bit of an artist? RokComics have launched a brilliant Mobile Comic Creator that lets you create your own Mobile Comics, and if it's of a good enough standard, RokComics will share it with their users.

Mobile Comics are an MMS that you download to your cell phone or mobile phone. RokComics have comics featuring characters such as Garfield, Teenage Mutant Nija Turtles, but I recommend you check out of the other pro-comics available. Some interesting stuff to be found.

The Mobile Comics Creator is entirely web based, very intuitive and has an excellent video tour for beginners. I'm thinking I'll give it a go and post it here, but frankly I'm not very creative, and I'm certainly no 'artiste'.
